New Family Orientations:

There are several opportunities for families new to Montana City School to learn about MCS or become more acquainted with our school and staff.  A sampling of those options are:

• Scheduled Summer and Evening Tours: If parents and new students would like to come to visit our school and hear about our practices and philosophies, contact us at 442-6779 to arrange for a time to meet with school administration and take a tour.
• Student-lead tours: Students new to MCS will be paired with some of our student council officers and members to tour the building and walk through their schedules prior to starting classes.  This can be arranged in advance by contacting the school or can take place in the morning your child will begin classes.
• Open-House/Ice Cream Social: Each year our outstanding PTA hosts an Ice Cream Social on the same evening as Open House.  Open House occurs the night before the first day of school for students.
• Family-Orientation Meetings:  Periodically family-orientation meetings are arranged and information can be found on our school Facebook page, in the weekly "Info to Go" electronic newsletter, and in letters sent home at the start of each school year.  
• Weekly Newsletters/Facebook:  Our weekly electronic newsletter, Info to go, and our school Facebook page include much of the happenings and upcoming events taking place at Montana City School.
